1. About these terms

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the sinistereo website and to any products you purchase from us.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean sinistereo. We are a small independent business based in Northern Ireland. Our customer support email is help@sinistereo.uk.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referred to on this website. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

Nothing in these terms affects any legal rights you have as a consumer.

2. Using our website

You must use our website lawfully and honestly. You must not use it to commit fraud, spread malicious software, interfere with the website, copy our content without permission, or misuse another person’s personal information.

You must provide accurate information when placing an order or contacting us. You are responsible for keeping any account or login details secure.

3. Our products

We try to make our product descriptions, photographs, colours and prices as accurate as possible. However, colours may look slightly different depending on your screen or device.

Some products are held and shipped by us. Other products are made to order by a print-on-demand partner. Product availability, designs, materials and specifications may change from time to time.

We may correct genuine errors in product descriptions, prices, availability or delivery information. If an error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you and explain your options.

Nothing in this section limits your legal rights if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, not as described, or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable law.

4. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you are asking to buy the products in your basket. Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation.

We may decline or cancel an order where, for example:

• the product is unavailable;
• there is an obvious pricing or product-description error;
• we suspect fraud or misuse;
• delivery to the requested destination is not possible; or
• we are unable to obtain payment.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order or product.

Please check your order carefully before placing it. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at help@sinistereo.uk. We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations will be possible after an order has entered fulfilment.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.

The price charged will normally be the price shown when you place your order. We accept payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be fulfilled.

Delivery charges, taxes, customs charges and import duties will be shown at checkout where we are able to calculate them. For international orders, additional charges may be collected by customs or your local delivery authority.

We may offer discounts or promotions from time to time. Promotional offers may have their own terms, including an expiry date, product exclusions or limits on use.

6. Dispatch and delivery

Orders may take up to 7–14 days to dispatch. This is the time before an order is handed to the delivery carrier and is not the total delivery time.

Delivery after dispatch depends on the destination, delivery service, carrier, customs processing and other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guarantees unless we expressly state otherwise.

Some products may be dispatched separately because they are held or fulfilled by different suppliers.

If your order is delayed, damaged, lost or appears to be stuck in transit, contact us at help@sinistereo.uk and we will investigate with the carrier or fulfilment partner.

Nothing in this section limits your legal rights in relation to delivery or goods that do not arrive.

7. Returns, refunds and faulty products

Our Return and refund policy explains:

• which products may be returned;
• the applicable return timeframes;
• who pays return postage;
• how print-on-demand and made-to-order products are treated; and
• how faulty, damaged or incorrect orders are handled.

For items held and shipped by us, our current policy allows eligible unused items to be returned within 14 days of delivery, with return postage paid by the customer.

Some personalised or custom-made products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns where applicable law allows. Any such exclusion does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will work with you to provide an appropriate replacement or refund.

8. ORDERS TO THE UK AND IRELAND

We currently accept orders for delivery to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland only. We do not currently accept orders to other countries.

Orders delivered to the Republic of Ireland may be subject to local taxes, customs charges, import duties or handling fees where applicable. These charges are outside our control.

If an order is delayed or affected by customs, contact us at help@sinistereo.uk and we will help where we can. Any refund or return rights will be handled according to our Return and refund policy and applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

The sinistereo name, branding, logos, product designs, photographs, written content, graphics and website layout belong to sinistereo or the relevant rights holder.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute or use our content without our written permission.

10. Reviews and customer content

If you send us a review, photograph, comment, suggestion or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it.

You allow us to use, reproduce and display that content for operating and promoting our business, unless you ask us to stop using it where this is reasonably possible.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, discriminatory, defamatory, infringing or harmful.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or applicable law.

11. Third-party services and links

Our website may use third-party services, including payment providers, delivery carriers, fulfilment partners, analytics services and print-on-demand providers.

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the operation of third-party websites or services, but this does not remove our responsibilities to you as the seller of the products you purchase from us.

12. Website availability

We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website when necessary for maintenance, security, improvements or other business reasons.

13. Liability and consumer rights

We are responsible for losses that we cannot legally exclude or limit.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights, liability for fraud, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be displayed on this page with the date it was updated.

Changes will not affect rights that have already arisen under an order you have placed, unless the law requires otherwise.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.

By using the website or placing an order, you acknowledge that your information may be processed by Shopify, payment providers, delivery carriers, fulfilment partners and other service providers where necessary to operate the store and complete your order.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland.

If you are a consumer living outside Northern Ireland, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Where permitted by law, the courts of Northern Ireland will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or your use of the website.
